While the film delivers striking plot twists and an intriguing opening, it leaves several critical story elements underexplored—such as the mysterious homeless man’s influence on Nokoshi and Ito’s unclear motives behind his obsession. For viewers unfamiliar with the original manga, these gaps may cause confusion, yet the film remains a thought-provoking experience with a bold and eerie atmosphere.
