8. Bad dream
With her back against the wall, Anne Fortier takes a desperate gamble and decides to direct the investigation deep into the forest. The longer it goes on, the less likely it becomes that her missing colleague will be found safe and sound. At the risk of offending the Native American communities of the nearby reservation, she sets out to confront the bloodthirsty aggressor on his own territory. Fortier is then confronted with phenomena that her scientific training would lead her to describe as "supernatural." This harrowing investigation, where the paranormal gradually overrides reason, seems destined to seal the fate of the SAS members forever.
