While Jaap takes drastic steps to get over Jony, Thomas realizes he is still in love with her and gets Malanie to help him before Jony returns. Brenda gets arc-eyes.

Thomas attempts a new method to improve the staff's work after Ferdie informs him of Stephano's plans - but Gawie's influence threatens to derail it.

Gawie asks Jony to move overseas with him. She agrees and is now faced with the difficult task of breaking the news to Thomas. Thomas finds out before she can tell him…

Jony and Gawie convince the staff to go on a diet in solidarity with Ferdie. It turns into a weight loss race with a Gawie-sponsored Sun City weekend as the prize.

The Hotel holds a funeral for a community member who forces Ferdie to plan his own funeral while he is still alive. Thomas tries to spend quality time with Jony for the last time.

Jony is back, but Danny refuses to give up his new position as receptionist. The power struggle in the lobby leads to new initiatives and particularly good service.

Dodgy Mike teaches Danny that what a woman says and what she means are two different things and that Danny needs to read between the lines what kind of wedding Malanie really wants.

Ferdie organizes a baby week at work with bags mieliemeel for all the staff. It becomes a competition to see who is the best parent. Jony struggles to work with an unengaged Thomas.

In an attempt to get the staff to stop doing side jobs while at the Fransen, Thomas and Ferdie accidentally eat muffins laced with marijuana.

When Jeff's cell phone is stolen, Ferdie takes 'control' of the situation and quarantines the staff until it is found. Brenda tries to find out who is stealing her sandwiches.

Jo Black arrives at Die Fransen, having been boycotted at all the other venues in the area. Thomas agrees that he can give his talk at the hotel for his group: The Knights of Truth.

After the hotel finally gets its third star, Stephano makes an offer on the Hotel that Ferdie and Thomas cannot refuse. They decide to sell.

Ferdie and Thomas decide to get the hotel back after they get bored with all their money and time. It's more difficult than they think, because the staff have all found other jobs.
