Dealing with Mikadono Sisters is a Breeze _(Mikadono Sanshimai wa Angai, Choroi.)_ is a high school harem type anime where the protagonist is surrounded by two or more of the opposite sex in friendship but usually getting involved on a romantic level eventually. This anime is centered around three sisters,Kazuki Mikadono - eldest sister an aspiring and upcoming actress, Niko Mikadono - middle sister a rising star in female comeptative karate, and the youngest - Miwa Mikadono already at the top of her game at being an ace player to a board game called Shogi (very similar to chess) and their different personalities and named interests when it comes to living with a newly introduced seemingly unworthy young man to their family; Yuu Ayase.
Yuu goes to school with the girls at their elite school - where they are considered by students to be "royalty" due to being extrodinary in their particular fields - because his mother was of an elite pedigree in her chosen field of acting. Her renown was nationwide, and now Yuu, who has not one ounce of his mother's natural talent, has to work his way out of his mother's titan-like shadow. Things are further complicated for Yuu when an old and dear friend of his late mother offers him a place to live at his daughters' condo. All of them are shocked when Yuu ends up at their front door, just in time for their father's call to let them know to welcome Yuu.
I liked this anime. It is the usual "break them down with kindness troupe" with the girls realizing their is more to the protagonist than meets the eye. Each begins to think their is more to their worlds as their snobbish feelings change the more time they are exposed to Yuu. And they begin to also notice how much they have grown apart as siblings due to their father's high expectations of perfection. What is unexpected is their hearts are expanding and at the center of each siblings' feelings is Yuu. Can the girls keep up the charade of not being interested in Yuu, jealous of each other, and keep their "royalty" status in check without their father or an unsuspecting Yuu taking notice?
This anime was pretty okay with the pacing, timing, touching, comedic, and romantic moments. The characters are well thought out and have solid individual plot lines. Overall it's a nice romantic comedy done well. Not looking for it but will be very pleased if there is a second season.
Hope you're as pleased with this one as I was! - Bob -
