While their apartment is being renovated Ulf and Christina move in with Frida and Magnus who are trying to rekindle their sex life by role playing. Meanwhile, Jenny dates a ninth-grader.

Ulf and Christina attempt a sure-to-fail get-rich-quick scheme. Frida starts to think that Magnus is childish and immature. Jenny's new boyfriend, the elderly Ernst, goes camping with Ulf and Magnus.

When Magnus and Frida start meeting Magnus's co-worker Janne and his wife Lotta, Ulf and Christina become worried that this may endanger their friendship. Jenny meets a boyfriend who is exactly like her.

After a terrible wedding anniversary Christina divorces Ulf, Frida tampers with her addiction to chocolate and Jenny becomes interested in New Age.

Ulf, Christina, Magnus, Frida, Jenny and her new boyfriend Max take a road trip to Germany.

The couples celebrate Christmas with their families. Magnus is worried that he will ruin the celebrating with Frida's family, Ulf celebrates with Christina's family who celebrate Christmas very differently than others and Jenny celebrates with her family.

Magnus and Frida are having a New Years Eve dinner. Ulf, who is supposed to bring fireworks, brings a bomb called Oklahoma City. Frida faints and wakes up in 1943. Jenny dates Robert Wells. Magnus, who is buying booze for the evening, gets thrown out of the cab for saying champagne is originally from France, not Russia.
