Whenever I hear people talk about this OVA/movie, I always here about how I just don't understand it and that the main character, Kintaro Oe, is an inspirational character and see themselves in him. So what these people are saying is that they look up to a pervert who nearly destroys a companies files just to prove himself to be better than the women he works with, takes advantadge of a girl who has been abused by her boyfriend just so he can get in her pants, stalks a swim teacher to the point she has to file restraining orders against him, forces a biker to fall in love with him and makes fun of her motorcycle kink, and sees women as a pair of tits and a pussy to fuck. Yeah no thanks, I rather not look up to the anime equivalent of of Harvey Wienstein. Honestly in hindsight, Golden boy is even worse than I remember and is tied with Gorno as the worst movie I have seen. FUCK YOU/10

Kintaro, despite having met the requirements for a law degree, left Tokyo University without graduating. Golden Boy depicts his living the life of a free spirit, roaming Japan from town to town, job to job. During his travels, Kintaro meets several women whose lives he dramatically changes, despite poor first impressions. He constantly observes and studies the people and events around him, recording his findings in a notebook he carries on his belt.
