On August 8, 2006, the Report debuted a series of three to four minute-long animated shorts entitled Stephen Colbert Presents: Stephen Colbert's Alpha Squad 7: The New Tek Jansen Adventures, allegedly in response to a lack of publisher interest in the novel.[3] Jansen is voiced by Colbert himself.
