Genjo Sanzo, Son Goku, Cho Hakkai, and Sha Gojyo stop over in a small town during their journey West. Locals share their stories about the loss of humanity exhibited by demons in the area.

A huge demonic spirit attacks the town, and the group meets Yaone and Ensui, two demons under Gyōkuman Kōshu's command.
